In an effort to help homeless individuals in Los Angeles, the government will be funding Project Homekey to build up to 1,000 affordable units of permanent supportive housing. Project Homekey was first started in 2020 as they converted buildings into permanent housing sites. With the new funding, the project will be able to expand state wide to fight homelessness not just in Los Angeles.
