Following various other countries, Australia has officially committed to saving 30% of the continent’s landmass for conservation. The Threatened Species Action Plan identifies 20 places and 110 priority species to save as well as a guide to recovery actions that will benefit a broad range of threatened species and their habitats. The country will be using $224 Million to protect around 50 million hectares.
