Last Wednesday, the World Health Organization held a press conference where the chief announced that they have never been in a better position to end the COVID-19 pandemic. After almost 6 million lives have been lost, the end is finally in sight. It was official that deaths from COVID-19 last week were the lowest since March 2020. It is not the end, so countries still need to be vigilant about their COVID protocols, but we are almost there.
